About Janeu, Mauli & Kaala Dhaga Threads
TrueMart's own sacred thread range covers Janeu (Yagnopavit) — the traditional 20-thread cord worn for Upanayanam — alongside Kalava (also known as Mauli, Moli or Raksha Sutra) in black, yellow and other traditional colours: Kaala Dhaga for protection against negative energy and the evil eye, and Peela Vaishnav Sootra for devotees of Lord Vishnu.
