We've Had a Glow-Up, new TrueMart
We've got some news to share with you.
After many months of careful work behind the scenes, TrueMart has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. New site, new technology, faster experience — and the same team, same values, and same commitment to bringing you authentic products you can trust.
If you've shopped with us before, thank you. You're the reason we're still here, and the reason we've invested in this rebuild. We'd like to tell you what's changed, why we did it, and one small thing we'll need from you.
Why we rebuilt TrueMart
The honest answer is this: we wanted TrueMart to feel like TrueMart.
When we first launched, we built our shop on a ready-made platform. It worked, and it got us off the ground — but it was a generic system designed to fit thousands of different businesses, none of them quite like ours. Every time we wanted to improve something for our customers, we hit a wall. The site was fine, but it wasn't ours.
So we made the harder choice: start fresh, build it our way, and do it properly — a website designed specifically for the way we'd like to look after you, with the freedom to keep improving it for years to come.
What's better on the new site
The whole experience has had a careful rethink:

- 🚚 Clearer delivery information — exact costs and options shown upfront before you pay
- 🔍 Better search and categories — so you actually find what you came for

- 🔒 Stronger privacy and security — your data stays in the EU, and we ask before we track anything
It's the same TrueMart you know — just kinder to use, and built on a foundation we can keep building on.
The small favour we need from you
Here comes the part we wish we could avoid: you'll need to create a new account on the new TrueMart.
We know — nobody loves signing up again. We're sorry for the inconvenience. The new site uses an entirely new technical foundation, and for security reasons we're not able to bring passwords across from the old system. Rather than half-migrate things and risk anyone's data, we've chosen to start clean.
The good news: it takes about 30 seconds. You can sign up with your email at the top-right of any page, and you'll be ready to shop straight away.
A few things worth knowing as you switch over:
- Returning customer? Just click "Login" and use the magic link option to sign in securely without a password. Once you're in, you can easily set a new password in your account settings. If you run into any trouble, please contact us (mailto:[email protected]) — we'll sort it out.
- Newsletter subscribers — you'll need to opt in again on the new site. We'd love to have you back, but we want it to be your choice.
- Saved addresses and payment details — these don't transfer either. You'll set those up fresh. Stripe handles all our payments, so card details are stored securely with them, never with us.
- Order in progress on the old site? Don't worry — we'll see it through. Just reach out if you have any questions.
What hasn't changed
Just as importantly:
- Same team — still a small UK business, still run with care
- Same product range — books, pooja essentials, festive gifts, cosmetics, and rakhis

- Same commitment to authenticity — that bit is non-negotiable, and always will be
